Kristy Anderson to Present at Indiana Greenways Trails Gathering

Monday, September 15, 2025

Kristy Anderson will hit the ground running upon her return to Eppley by presenting at the annual Indiana Greenways Trails Gathering held at Spring Mill Park on September 25-26, 2025 in Mitchell, IN.  Kristy will present best practices and research methods Eppley uses to measure the impact of trails on local communities, which includes the recently completed economic impact study on the Monon South Trail: Economic Impact Projection Final Report.

Kristy joined the Eppley Center as a Project Manager during the summer of 2021. She is an experienced data analyst and strategist with 10 years of experience in research and evaluation within public and nonprofit sectors. She also has several years of experience in outdoor education programming and interpretation. At the Eppley Center, Kristy’s project work spans these areas of strategic planning, research, evaluation, and interpretation. Her academic research has centered on social-ecological inquiries that examine how anthropocentric environmental changes shape public health and outdoor recreation outcomes.
